Background Information to today's lesson: In last week’s clip, we saw the death of Stephen, the first person to die for his faith in Jesus. Paul of Tarsus, was a devout Pharisee (a strict Jewish religious group), who had been involved in the death of Stephen. He was committed to stopping the good news the followers of Jesus were spreading everywhere that Jesus was alive and eternal life was God’s gift to all who believe in Him.
