Introduction:
Thousands of years ago, there was a time when people hated and disobeyed God. Everything they wanted to do was evil and bad. There was one man, however, a man named Noah who worshipped God, the maker of all things, and lived to please Him. One day God spoke to Noah and told him that He was going to destroy the world of wicked people by sending a great flood, but He promised Noah He would save him and his family and start over with them. In this video clip Noah tells us about the beginning of everything and the introduction of evil into the world.

As you watch, take notes and be prepared to answer the following questions after you watch the video:

  5. What animal did you see when the woman was eating the fruit?

  7. Describe the violence shown in the video clip.
  8. What was in the sky at the end of the video clip?

Noah: In the beginning, God created the and the earth. And God said, "let there be light!" And there was light. Then God the water and the sky. He formed the seas and the land.   2. How did Adam and Eve disobey God? How did Cain disobey God?
  3. Noah said the problem of evil comes from people making wrong choices. What are some examples of wrong choices people make today?
  4. What do you do with the evil in your own heart and mind?
  5. Why do you think God gives people choices?
  6. After the flood, God made this promise to Noah:
    "You see, I have set my rainbow in the sky. This will be the sign of the covenant I have made with you and all creatures, never again to destroy the earth by a flood. It will always remind us of the promise between you and me." (Genesis 9)
